I visited Kibbutz Givat Haiyyim Ihud as an Ulpanim and stayed until 1980 when I left to go to Mechina, but then went to Eilat and back up to Jerusalem. Later that year I left and went to England. I was always called John at the Kibbutz.
I also went to Eilat and worked at the Bell Hotel
