54 now. Been on here nearly 10 years, only come across 1 person I knew so far! Looking at my old kibbutz (and Israel in general) things have changed a lot. Tourism is now more profitable than oranges! Do they still have volunteers? Kibbutz life could be very good but not forever for me! Now live a quiet life in west Manchester and grow flowers and vegetables.

Visit Israel at least once. Forget about what you see on TV, form your own opinion when you've been there.
